1928 – 2004

LEWISTON – Charles “Chuck” Mason Sr. of Lewiston died March 29, at his home.

Born in Rockland, Sept. 14, 1928, he was the son of Chester and Helen (Stetson) Mason.

“Chuck” was a rodeo rider and artist and well-known country-western entertainer, who appeared all over the country and was most proud of touring with the “Sons of the Pioneers.”

Survivors include one brother, Adriel Mason of Mesa, Ariz.; four sons, Gary Mason and Russell, Chester Dana and David of Lewiston; one daughter, Billie Rene Mason of Kansas City, Kan.; and his companion, Laurel Martin and her family.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Laurence Mason and Chester Mason Jr.; and one son, Charles Mason Jr.
