LEWISTON – Loretta R. Morin, 78, of 45 Lucille St., Auburn, passed away at d’Youville Pavilion after a short illness to be with her family on the other side.

She was a longtime shoe worker, retiring from Hanna Shoe, at the age of 65. She enjoyed her retirement years at Taylor Pond, playing Tuck with friends, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She loved her winter home in Zephyrhills, Fla., with friends and her “Little Brother” there.

She leaves behind her husband, B. Maurice Morin “voice of the Maineiacs”; her children, Monique Langis of Lewiston, Ron Morin and his wife Debbie of Auburn, and Don Morin of Leeds; grandchildren, Chris Poirier and wife Tracy of Auburn, Brooke Ansden and her husband Flint of Auburn, Kelly Lynn Poirier of Lewiston, and Joseph Morin of Auburn; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Anthony, Matthew and Shane Ciriello, Trista and Alyssa Morin, Trace, Mariah and Jordan Poirier, Obsidian Ansden; her sister, Theresa Lessard and her husband Romeo of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by her sister, Rolande Desjardins; and her father, Charles Z. Provencher.
