An Easter Sunday service is planned for 10 a.m.

NORWAY – Second Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, has announced its Easter week activities. They begin with Palm Sunday worship services at 10 a.m. at the church at 205 Main St.

John Williams is guest minister. Church School is also at 10 a.m. An Easter egg hunt and breakfast will be included.

Maundy Thursday service begins with supper at 5:30 p.m. followed by Service of Tenebrae and Communion at 6:30. The Sunday School children will gather after school to prepare the meal.

The Good Friday Walk will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 9. Participants will gather at the First Universalist Church in Norway and stop at many of the churches in Norway and South Paris for a reading. The walk will end at the Trinity Lutheran Church in South Paris. All area churches are welcome to participate.

Easter Sunday Sunrise Service will take place at 6 a.m. at Brimstone Corner in South Paris (off East Oxford Road). Breakfast will follow at the First Congregational Church in South Paris.

Everyone is invited to the Easter worship service at 10 a.m. Easter morning, April 11. John Williams will be preaching. Music will be provided by the Vocal Choir and the Hand Bell Choir. There will be no Sunday School.
