DIXFIELD – The annual Dixfield Lions pancake breakfast will be held from 6 to 10 a.m. Sunday, April 4, at the American Legion, Main Street. The menu will include sausage, toast and coffee. Cost for adults is $5 and children under 12 $3.

Auxiliary meeting

RUMFORD – American Legion and Auxiliary, Congress Street, will meet Sunday, April 4 at the post home. The auxiliary will vote on new officers and delegates to convention. Supper will be served at 5 p.m. with meetings to follow.

Election scheduled

RUMFORD – Robert Shand Auxiliary No. 1641 will have nominations and elections of officers at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, at the Post on Waldo Street.

Last club meeting

ROXBURY – The Slippery Sliders snowmobile club will hold the last meeting of the season at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, at the Roxbury fire station.

Guest speaker

RUMFORD – The River Valley Growth Council will host Sandy Blitz, executive director of the East-West Highway Association, at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, in the Student Community Center at the Dirigo High School. The public is invited to attend.
