BUCKFIELD – Brothers Matthew and Jason Tardy will bring their show, “TWO: High Energy Juggling” back to the Oddfellow Theater for two nights this month.
Shows will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 9, and Saturday, April 10.
The brothers left their home state of Maine a few years ago to pursue their careers in New York, and now they are back to show everyone what high energy juggling is all about.
Matthew and Jason Tardy have created a show that features everything from high-tech juggling and fire-eating to physical comedy and full body contortion.
They juggle various “props-of-doom,” perform mind-bending choreography and in complete darkness, create streaks of color-changing light that glide through the air. This is all choreographed to upbeat original music from their new CD “TWO Loud.”
The jugglers have amazed audiences at events across the country and abroad, such as at The Golden Phoenix Casino in Reno, on Princess Cruise Lines, at The Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas and at the International Juggling Festival. They’ve also appeared on local and national television such as WGME’s “Daybreak,” PBS’ “True North” and CBS “Sunday Morning.”
Juggle Magazine called their show: “Juggling meets the X-Games!”
Mike Miclon of the Oddfellow Theater calls the show “a totally rockin’ experience for the whole family.”
Tickets: $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $6 for children 12 and under. They are available at Northeast Bank in Buckfield; or by calling 336-3306. The theater is on Route 117.
