1927 – 2004
NORWAY – Howard Edwin “Red” Adams, 76, of Norway passed away Friday, April 2, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
He was born in N. Lovell on May 20, 1927, the son of Jesse and Bessie Flint Adams, one of eight children.
On May 19, 1945 he married Barbara MacKenzie. They shared 58 years together. Mr. Adams faithfully served our country in the U.S. Army from 1945-1947. He worked for Barjo’s Restaurant, Wilner Wood Heel and for C. B. Cummings and Sons in Norway for 33 Years retiring as a foreman in 1988. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and many other outdoor activities.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Norway; two sons, Craig E. Adams and wife, Kathleen of Stoneham and Bradley H. Adams and wife, Karen of N. Waterford; three grandchildren, Bethany Rogers, Jesse Adams and Erin Adams and four great-grandchildren, Heather, Amanda, and Allyssa Rogers and Chandler Adams.
