AUGUSTA – The Maine International Trade Center is sponsoring a workshop titled Beyond Google: Research Techniques in a Global Marketplace, from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 8.

This seminar will review strategies for international market research; provide an overview of available periodical research tools for business and trade publications; and introduce specific tools useful for Internet trade research. Featured speakers are Don Chappell, MEP Management Services; Zip Kellogg, University of Southern Maine Library; and Ed Barr, World Trade Center Rhode Island.

The program is part of the Citizens Bank Foundation International Trade Series and will be held at the UNUM Provident Learning Center in South Portland.

Cost is $30 for members and $60 for nonmembers. Legislators may attend at no charge.
