LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens will have their Easter meal Monday at Murray Hall with each to take a covered dish. After the meal the group will have its monthly beano game.
The April meal from Seniors Plus will be salmon pie. Susan Goulet from Seniors Plus told the group about their programs which include Meals on Wheels, volunteer drivers and social activities.
She said staff members took a cut in pay so the organization can provide the meals needed and thanked the group for its recent donation.
Frances Berry was a guest and Dot Wilson was welcomed back from her stay in Myrtle Beach, NC.
Happy birthday was sung to members who had March natal days: Yvette Chretien, Margaret Cloutier, Elvina Miller, Norman Duguay, Dot Wilson, Barbara Begin, Claudette Morin, Lorraine Cote, Margaret Richardson and Carmen Moreau.
Chairman Shirley Couture announced a donation from Hannaford. The 50/50 was won by Aurelien Couture and a bunny donated by Alice DeMoras was won by Jeannette Buck.
