LOCKE MILLS – The Greenwood Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, at the historical building. Gil Whitman of Bryant Pond will present a program on metal sculpture. Everyone is welcome.

LOCKE MILLS – The Locke Mills Union Church and Rumford Point Congregational Church will join in a Maundy Thursday service at Rumford Point on Thursday, April 8. A potluck supper at 6 p.m. will be followed by the service.

A sunrise Easter service will be held at Locke Mills Union Church at 5:45 a.m. Sunday, April 11, followed by Easter breakfast. Everyone is welcome. The regular Easter service will be held at 9 a.m. This is a new time for the service and will continue each Sunday from Easter.

Quilters to meet

RUMFORD – The Rumford Area Quilters will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 12, at the Rumford United Methodist Church on Linnell Street. A demonstration on reversible bags will be presented. All area quilters are welcome. For more information call Mary at 562-7050.
