JAY – The Jay High School Math Team took first place in the PI-CONE NORTH math meet in the small school division.

The team scored 690 points overall, with Dirigo High School scoring 308 points, Livermore Falls High School scoring 296 and Hebron Academy scoring 182.

The Jay team competed March 31 at the Mountain Valley Conference at Mount Abram High School in Salem and will compete in a state meet Wednesday, April 7, at the Cumberland County Civic Center.

Team members are Heidi Purrington, Shane Bourgault, Ashley Uhuad, Jaclyn Lautz, Sara DeMillo, Kristen Uhuad, Jenna Lord, Cortney Gould, Justin Wells, Zach Charles, Joe Gagnon and Rachel Gagnon.
