TURNER – The Maine Agriculture in the Classroom Association, dedicated to helping educators in kindergarten through grade 12 teach students about agriculture and natural resources, will hold a workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 9, at the River Valley School.

All participants will receive the 55-lesson Project Food, Land and People Resources for Learning and the Maine Wild Blueberry Curriculum as well as training in the hands-on materials and exposure to Maine agriculture.

All lessons have been aligned with the Maine Learning Results.

The cost of the program is $30 and includes lunch. Preregistration is preferred. The program will feature Peter Ricker from Ricker Orchards as the guest speaker along with four presenters.
