BATH – Bath Legion Field will be the scene of a benefit softball tournament, May 14-16. Proceeds will used to erect a flag pole in memory of 14-year-old Kyle Fitzherbert who passed away last June after suffering from a rare disease for most of his life.
Entry fee is $150 per team. Registration, by May 1, can be made by contacting Rodney Toothaker at 837-1043, or e-mail rtoothaker@hotmail.com.
A flag ceremony will take place May 8 at 8 a.m. at Bath Little League Field.
Umpires to meet at 7:00
LEWISTON – The first regular monthly meeting of the Andy Valley Softball Umpires’ Association is slated for tonight at 7 o’clock at the Multi-Purpose Center. An executive meeting will follow.
