PORTLAND – Charles “Chuck” Stetson Mason Jr., passed away unexpectedly on March 27, in Portland.
Born in Boothbay Harbor, July 21, 1953, at St. Andrew’s Hospital, he was the son of Charles and Evelyn Mason.
He was raised in Boothbay and Bath from junior high and and most recently lived in Lewiston with his mother. He enjoyed spending time with his buddy, Chin.
“Chuck” is survived by his mother, Evelyn Mason of Lewiston; brothers, Gary Mason of Massachusetts, Russell L. Mason, Chester Dana Mason and David A. Mason of Lewiston; sister, Billy Renay Mason of Leavenworth, Kan.; daughter, Charlinda Renay Lyons and husband, John of Cundy’s Harbor; two sons, Charles Stetson Mason III of New York, and Ryan Mason of Waterville; daughter, Sharon Ann Mason of Portland; two grandchildren; and many friends all over the country.
He was predeceased by his father, Charles S. Mason Sr. of Lewiston on March 30.
