Lewiston High School

During the week of Mar. 2-5, Lewiston High School only had one thing on its mind. It was to accommodate the junior class in any way possible to ensure they did well on the MEAS. Breakfast every morning and mid-day snacks were just one of the many things teachers and administration did for the juniors.

There were pep rallies where the cheerleaders cheered “MEAS get an A” to the promise of a trip to Funtown the next year if all requirements were met. Teachers even postponed tests and quizzes in order to ensure the students concentrated on the MEAS. All in all the MEAS went off without a hitch so far. Ninety-five percent of the juniors showed up to take the test, which was one of the requirements and from the words of many teachers, students in their rooms tried there best. It looks like a trip to Funtown might occur after all!!

Good work, juniors.
