There will be two performances.
LIVERMORE – Lakeside Dance Academy students, under the direction of Pam Ellis, will perform at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 9 and 10, at Rangeley Lakes Regional School gym.

More than 25 dancers from beginner to advanced will perform tap, ballet, pointe, and jazz, to music of famous Broadway musicals.

Performance highlights will include a tap number complete with top hat and tails to the title song from Guys and Dolls.

The Jazz 1 class will open the show with “Lullaby of Broadway” from 42nd Street.

The finale is a top hat number from A Chorus Line featuring all of the girls.

Other dances will include the jazz II class in “Razzle Dazzle” from Chicago and the ballet I class in the “Wedding Dance” from Fiddler on the Roof. The ballet II class will perform to “Many A New Day” from Oklahoma. The pointe class, selected from dancers from the ballet III class, will perform to “The Lusty Month of May” from Camelot.

There will be a reception to honor the dancers after the show on both nights. Admission is $3 for adults, $1 for students ages 12-17. Children 6 and under are free. For more information call 864-2556.
