RUMFORD – The Wright Brothers Two will do a benefit show to raise funds for the Moontide Water Festival.

The comedy troupe will perform Saturday, April 10, to benefit the festival and the largest fireworks display in the state, organizers say. The Wright Brothers Two is a modern American comedy troupe with a style reminiscent of classic comedians such as the Marx Brothers, Chaplin, Marceau and the Three Stooges.

Good old belly laughing, family fun and entertainment is at the core of their show, say the organizers. Beneath the surface, the audience will recognize years of training in many performing-art techniques, skills and discipline, including dance, classical mime, music, circus arts, gymnastics and theater.

The benefit evening will begin with dinner at 5:30 p.m. in the Rumford Eagles Club on Rumford Avenue. The comedy troupe will perform at 7 p.m. The festival will be in early July. Tickets: $10 per person, $15 per couple. They may be purchased at Port to Port and Dr. Robert’s Chiropractic on Exchange Street.
