BRUNSWICK – The classic children’s fairy tale “Rumplestiltskin” will be performed by 16 third- through sixth-graders at The Theater Project, 14 School St. There will be three performances: 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 9; and 11 a.m and 2 p.m. Saturday, April 10,
The play is the culmination of a class taught by Lee K. Paige and Keith Anctil.
Directors Paige and Anctil, who also wrote the script, say, “These lively and talented young people have been collaborating with us, creating wonderful characters, and helping us put a modern twist on the traditional story – complete with a surprise ending.”
The cast members include Caitlin Barnhart, Kristen Estabrook, Gillian Ford, Colin Grant, Holly Heinz, Molly Herman, Zachary Jackson, Isabella Jones, William McCarthy, Meghan McGuire, Leah McNally, Taylor Peck-Moad, Simon Tracy, Vivian Tracy, Thomas Watson and Jonathan Wertheim.
