PORTLAND – Michael F. Power and Ann Adams have been hired by Ticor Title Insurance Co.

The two have a combined 60 years of experience underwriting residential and commercial titles in New England and the Midwest. They will serve as counsel and title examiner/senior underwriter, respectively.

Power has been an attorney and title insurance executive for more than three decades. He served as state manager for Lawyers and Commonwealth Land title insurance companies in Portland. He earned his law degree from the Valparaiso University School of Law in 1973 and holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Boston State College.

He is a past president of the Maine Land Title Association and serves on the title standards subcommittee of the Maine State Bar Association. He teaches title-related seminars for real estate agents and Bar Association members. He lives in New Gloucester with his wife, Bridget.

Adams resides in Portland with her husband, Dan Boutin.
