WILTON – The Wilton Free Public Library will hold a silent auction for one of the old tables from the children’s room. The table is solid oak and measures 36 inches wide by 60 inches long and is 28 inches high. There are no chairs available. Those interested in bidding may stop by the library. Bidding closes at 3 p.m. April 15. The money raised form the sale of this table will benefit the building project.
Snowmobile club
NEW VINEYARD – The New Vineyard North snowmobile club will have its last meeting for this season at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, at Smith Hall. A tasting party will follow. Members are reminded to bring in their work sheets. The menu will be finalized for the landowners appreciation supper which will be held on May 1.
Forum breakfast
WILTON – A Wilton Community Forum Breakfast will be held from 6:45 to 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, at the First Congregational Church on Main Street. Gwyn Sewall of the Tumbledown Alliance will speak on the “Future of the Western Maine Mountains.” A variety of hot and cold breakfast items will be available. Admission is free but donations will be accepted. All are welcome.
Lodge meeting
LIVERMORE – Charity Rebekah Lodge of Livermore Falls will meet Wednesday, April 14, at their hall, the Ralph Wright Memorial Building, 284 Federal Road. Scrambled Officers Day will be observed with refreshments served at 12:30 p.m. before the meeting. Marge Pritsky and Betty Mitchell will serve as hostesses. Two important dates have been changed. The official visitation of the Assembly Officer will be held May 12 and meeting of District No. 10, with Charity Lodge as hostess, will be held May 22. Patricia Grass of Kennebunk, warden of the Rebekah Assembly of Maine, will be the visiting officer on both occasions.

Kids Stuff
FARMINGTON – Donations of clean toys and children’s clothing are being accepted for the 3rd annual Kids Stuff Sale. Items may be left until April 15 at collection boxes at the Better Living Center, Howard’s Rexall and the UMF Fitness Center. The sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24, on the lawn of Old South Church on Main Street. Proceeds will provide camp scholarships for local children. Along with the sale of used toys and children’s clothing, there will also be a silent auction and bake sale. Scholarship applications for children ages 3 to 6 are available at the Children’s Task Force or contact Barb Marshall at 779-0589 for more information. The event is co-sponsored by the Franklin County Children’s Task Force and Western Maine Children’s Camp Scholarship Fund.
Grange speaker
FARMINGTON – Gwen Grant, member of the Maine State Grange, will be the guest speaker at Farmington Grange No. 12 meeting at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 17, at the grange hall in West Farmington. Members are reminded to make and bring chocolate chip cookies which wil be judged at this meeting. Lady officers will be serving the refreshments and are reminded to bring sandwiches. Relay for Life
FARMINGTON – The American Cancer Society Relay for Life Team, Colby’s Angels, will sponsor an auction at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 17, at the Farmington Legion Hall.
Country concert
SALEM – A&E Hill Country Music will present a concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 18, at the Salem Community Building. This will be the last show of the season and is sponsored by the Salem Pine Tree Club.
