DANVERS, Mass. – Angenette L. Murphy, 95, a resident of Pine Avenue in Livermore Falls, died Tuesday morning, April 13 at Cedar Glen Nursing Home.

Born in Jay, Dec. 12, 1908, the daughter of Clifford and Glennis Smith Tucker, she was sister of Lucille, Irene and John.

She was a 1927 graduate of Jay High School. On Sept. 14, 1928, she married John William Murphy Jr. and they made their home and raised their family in Livermore Falls. He passed away on June 11, 1997.

She was a former member of the Charity Rebekah Lodge and a member of the Nazarene Church in Livermore Falls. Her hobbies included arts and crafts, gardening, knitting, cooking and caring for her family.

Survivors include two grandsons and their wives, Kevin W. and Jessica E. Murphy of Ipswich, Mass., and Keith M. and Jessica A. Murphy of Littleton, Mass.; a granddaughter, Kelly A. Murphy of Lynnfield, Mass.; two great-grandchildren, John (Jack) W. Murphy III and Benjamin N. Murphy; a sister, Lucille Wells; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sons, Norman W. and Reginald L. Murphy; a daughter-in-law, Carmelina A. (Nemi) Murphy; a brother, John Tucker; and a sister, Irene (Tucker) Thompson.
