ELLSWORTH – Phyllis Williams, 82, died Tuesday, April 13, at home with her family in Ellsworth.
She was born April 2, 1922, in Danforth, the daughter of Cecil and Etta (Morse) Bragdon. Her family was the most important part of her life.
She is survived by two children, Betty Lou Woodard and her husband Barry, and Gary Williams, all of Ellsworth; two grandsons, Troy Woodard and his wife Sheryl of Tremont, and Todd Woodard of Ellsworth; two great-grandchildren, Brittany and Nicholas Woodard of Tremont; two sisters, Lois Watt of Lisbon, and Martel Craig of Auburn; three brothers, Arthur Bragdon of Oxford, Clive Bragdon of Masardis, and Clair Bragdon of Mars Hill; a stepsister, Julia Stoddard of Danforth; a stepbrother, Donnie Bragdon of Stockton Springs; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Emery F. Williams, to whom she was married for 40-years, on April 19, 1982.
