PARIS – The First Universalist Church will hold a rummage sale of clean clothing and household items from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 17, at the church’s Good Cheer Hall on Pine Street. A bag sale will follow from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The morning sale will include a white elephant collectibles table.
Cuba program
NORWAY – A program on Cuba will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, at Fare Share Commons, 443 Main St. Participants will learn about Cuba today and the way the U.S. government treats Cuban people. Housing Show
OXFORD HILLS – The Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce will present its 2004 Manufactured Housing Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday, April 23 to 25, at 12 locations. More than 80 fully furnished homes will be on display. There is no admission fee. Homes will include capes, federals, ranches, modulars, vacation homes and custom designs. Free manufacturing plant tours will be given at three locations Saturday and Sunday, April 24 and 25. New for 2004 is the Financial and Modular Services Center. Bar Mills concert
BAR MILLS – Jennifer Porter and Friends will perform in concert her own unique renditions of songs spanning an array of musical eras and genres at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at the Saco River Grange Hall. BUCKFIELD – A public breakfast will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. Saturday, April 24, at John D. Long Post 58. The menu will offer eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, homefries, toast, homemade doughnuts, homemade muffins, coffee and juice. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children.
Turkey supper
HARRISON – A turkey supper will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at the Calvary Church vestry on Winslow Street. Adults $8, children ages 5 to 12, $4. Proceeds benefit the Oxford County Fair.
Chinese auction
PARIS – A Chinese auction will be held Saturday, April 24, at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, Main Street, Route 26. Doors will open for bidding from 5 to 6:30 p.m. There will be hundreds of prizes, and refreshments will be available. Proceeds will benefit Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills Inc. a nonprofit, no-kill shelter for cats and kittens, 132 Waterford Road, Norway, ME 04268.
Sale to benefit church

Grange open house
NORWAY – The Norway Grange 45 will hold a open house for the public from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at the grange hall on Whitman Street. The Community Citizen Award will be presented to the Oxford County Agricultural Society during the program. Refreshments will be served following the program.
