PARIS – The Rev. Dr. Janet Bowering will be the speaker at the 10 a.m. service of the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris, on Sunday, April 18.

Bowering is an active member of the New Massachusetts Universalist Convention. Chris Walker will be the soloist with Forest Perkins, church organist. The organ voluntaries will begin at 9:50.

The Sunday school will be in session and child care is provided. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is welcome.
Senior citizens to think spring’
WEST PARIS – The West Paris Senior Citizens met recently at the West Paris Baptist Church for a baked ham dinner followed by a planning and business meeting and Easter program. There were nine present.

The next meeting will be at noon Wednesday, May 5, at the Market Square Restaurant, South Paris. The program will be “Think Spring.”
Grange plans open house
WEST PARIS – West Paris Grange 298 will hold the annual community service open house program at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 15, at the hall, 4 Church St. Members will honor Clay Wilson for his 20-plus years of service to the community.
Community service
BRYANT POND – Franklin Grange 124 will hold the annual community service open house at 7 p.m. Monday, April 19, at the hall, Main Street, honoring Don Lawrence for his years of community service.
