WILTON – Planners will hold a public hearing Thursday to discuss a proposed amendment to the town’s zoning ordinance. The regular meeting begins at 7 p.m. with the public hearing expected to begin at 7:10 p.m. at the Town Office. The ordinance amendment relates to auto body repairs and sales under commercial uses.
In other business, planners will consider four new applications. C.N. Brown and Co. is proposing to replace the Big Apple convenience store and gas pumps on Route 2. The store recently burned.
Tammy McGowan and Louis Webster are asking for a permit to build a business complex on Route 2 where several businesses would operate. McGowan and Webster also want a permit to operate a catering and cake service; retail sales of windows, doors and carpets; kayak and canoe rentals; and a guide service at that location.
Gary York wants a permit to operate the Eagles Sport Shop under new ownership. That business is also on Route 2.
