TURNER – Dustin Gilbert twirled a complete game gem, striking out seven en route to a 4-1 win over Lewiston in KVAC baseball Wednesday afternoon.

Gilbert also led the Hornets’ (1-3) offensive attack with a double and two singles followed by Brandon Smith who rapped out a pair of safeties including a double.

The Blue Devils’ (1-4) Zack Timmerman pitched six innings before giving way to Brian Blais in relief.
Oxford Hills 11, Morse 5
BATH – Matt McDonnell scattered four hits and led the offensive effort with a triple and a double to lead Oxford Hills to a 11-5 romp over Morse in another KVAC baseball matchup Wednesday.

Joe Baker and Corey Tielinen chipped in for the Vikings (5-0) with RBI doubles.

Nate Fairfield led the Shipbuilders (1-2) with a solo home run, while Brandon Glidden ripped a double. Chris Curtis threw five innings and was saddled with the loss.
Lawrence 4, EL 3
FAIRFIELD – Tim Lee and Matt Perry combined for four hits and two RBI to lead Lawrence to a narrow 4-3 victory over Edward Little.

Lee also ruled the mound for the Bulldogs (3-2), stepping in to relieve Garrett Parker in the fourth inning and earn the win.

David Roberge led the Red Eddies (1-3) with a pair of hits, while Chris Leclair smacked a solo home run. Matt Bennett went the distance on the hill and took the loss.
Lincoln Academy 10, Oak Hill 3
WALES – Ben Buckland smashed a bases-loaded home run in the fourth inning to lead Lincoln Academy to a surprise 10-3 victory over defending Class B champion Oak Hill Wednesday.

Eric Gimble and Ryan Parlin split pitching duties, holding the Raiders (1-1) to just four hits. Parlin stepped on in the fourth and picked up the win.

Pat Duchette and Adam Shaftstall led Oak Hill with doubles. Mike Eaton started out on the hill and was saddled with the loss.
Jay 9, Monmouth 1
JAY – Ryan DiPompo and Joe Ouellette combined for six hits and four RBI to pace Jay to a 9-1 rout over Monmouth in MVC baseball action Wednesday.

Jake Turner and Jake Farrington chipped in for the Tigers (2-1) with two hits apiece.

Zack Charles twirled six innings and notched the win.

Steve Isaacson led the Mustangs’ (0-2) offensive effort with an RBI double in the sixth inning. Mark Wade threw the first three innings and was credited with the loss.
Hebron 7, Gould 5
BETHEL – Lian Gray scattered three hits in seven innings to pace Hebron Academy to a 7-5 win over Gould Academy Wednesday.

Derek Miller led the offensive effort with a pair of hits and two RBI.

Carl Olson led the way for Gould with four hits, including a triple and a double. Olson also held the mound for six innings and took the loss.

Quinn McAllister came in to relieve in the seventh but the damage had already been done.
Lacrosse

Gould 11, Fryeburg 0
BETHEL – Graham Voight netted three goals and earned three assists to lead Gould Academy to a 11-0 shutout win over Fryeburg Academy Wednesday.

Greg Schroy, Owen Ross, Taylor Felton and Gabe Ohlson chipped in with two goals apiece to complete the scoring. Matt Humbert made seven saves while notching the win.
