The two boys, Gary and Garrett Drew, were under house arrest at the time of their disappearance.
OTISFIELD – Oxford County deputies are looking for two teenage brothers from Otisfield who were reported missing from their home a week ago by their father.
Gary Drew of 75 Sherwood Drive said his sons, Garrett R. Drew, 16, and Gary R. “DJ” Drew Jr., 13, were last seen at the family’s home at 10 p.m. Tuesday, April 13.
Both, he said, were under house arrest at the time because of criminal activity, and both have left home before.
“They took off a week ago today,” Drew said Tuesday night. “I got up (Wednesday) morning and went to wake them up. They crawled out their windows.” Their beds hadn’t been slept in.
“They’ve been running the streets up in Norway and been spotted in some of the stores,” their father reported.
“We haven’t heard a word from them,” he said.
According to information from the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office, Garrett is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and white sneakers.
Gary Jr. is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
He was last known to be wearing a gray coat, Harlem Globetrotters T-shirt and white sneakers.
