PORTLAND – Priscilla F. Albert, 73, of 140 Ash St., Lewiston, died Monday, April 19, at Maine Medical Center following a short illness and with her family at her side.

Born in Auburn on Feb. 4, 1931, she was the daughter of Francois and Idella (Olivier) Albert. Educated locally, she graduated from St. Louis School in Auburn and attended Lewiston High School.

She was employed by several area shoe shops over the years, retiring in 1993. She loved the ocean, and also enjoyed making daily trips to her favorite restaurants. She always enjoyed making people laugh, and was always there for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her sister, Lorraine Plante of Lewiston; several nieces and nephews, including Peter Ricard of Arkansas, Jacqueline Favreau of Lewiston, Albert Ricard of New York, Michael Plante of Auburn, Linda Angelides of Sabattus, Denise Bannon of Massachusetts, David Ricard of Massachusetts; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Pauline Ricard; and a nephew, Paul Ricard.
