FARMINGTON – The University of Maine at Farmington announces two students, Angela Harkins Enman of Wilton and Holly Phillips of Farmington, have been selected to receive the Sumner P. and Flora A.P. Mills Community Service Awards.

Each student received an award of $1,000. The award recognizes UMF students who have volunteered their time to improve the quality of life for community residents.

Enman, majoring in elementary education with a concentration in mathematics, volunteers regularly at the Abused Women’s Advocacy Project and serves as a cabin leader at a summer camp for children.

Phillips, majoring in early childhood education, volunteers with an outreach service program, Mallett School, Eastward Players drama troupe and the Mission at the Eastward Youth Connection program.
