WEST PARIS – Tri-Town Rescue Auxiliary will present a variety show at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at the Agnes L. Gray School gym as a tribute to Harlan Abbott and Vernon Inman for always being there to help and to the soldiers overseas.

Entertainment will include Rick Blake, Jewel Clark, Donnie Catlin, Eric Wight, Liza Kurtz’s majorettes and Jackie Lorraine’s jazz dance group. The tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. For more information call 674-2346.
Baptisms
WOODSTOCK – Several will be baptized at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at the pool at Mollyockett Motel on Route 26. Pastor Bruce Tyner of the West Paris Baptist Church is in charge. Several of the baptized are also joining the church.

Residents will meet at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at the West Paris Town Office to pack boxes for the six serving in Iraq.
Blood drive
BUCKFIELD – An American Red Cross blood drive will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 26, at the Masonic Hall. Call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE to make an appointment.
Legion supper
WEST PARIS – The Ring McKeen Post 151, American Legion, and Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, preceded by a potluck supper at 6:30 p.m. at the Finnish-American Hall on Maple Street.
