NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Dora B. Fouquette, 88, of 33 Brown St., Lewiston, died Tuesday, April 20, at the Community Hospital following a short illness.
Born in Auburn, July 4, 1915, the daughter of Joseph Thomas and Diana (Roux) Belanger, she had been a resident of this community all of her life except for the last six months, where she resided with her son, Robert in Holiday, Fla.
She was employed in the local shoe industry and was a member of Holy Cross Parish. Her enjoyment was working outside around her home.
She was the widow of Richard Fouquette, whom she married on Nov. 4, 1946, and who died Aug. 7, 1980.
Survivors include two sons, Robert N. Fouquette and his wife, Joanne of Holiday, Fla., and Ronald T. Fouquette and his wife, Constance of Greene; one brother, Armand Belanger and his wife, Cecile of Lewiston; five grandchildren, David Fouquette of Washington State, Peter Fouquette of Holiday, Fla., Laura Chabot and her husband, Aaron of Manchester, N.H., and Christopher and Jeffrey Fouquette, both of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.
