FARMINGTON – Police charged a Farmington man with burglary and theft for allegedly entering an Industry Road home and taking some items.

Cea J. Pitcher, 20, was initially arrested by officer Nathan Reid on a warrant for failure to pay a fine while Reid was investigating a report of items missing from Pitcher’s neighbor’s home, said Detective Marc Bowering.

The two officers later went to the jail and questioned Pitcher about the burglary of coins, cigarettes and lottery tickets, Bowering said.

During the conversation, Bowering said, Pitcher told them about his involvement in the burglary.
