LEWISTON – Arline H. Burnham, 88, of 11 Tanglewood Dr., Lewiston, died Wednesday, April 21, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center following a short illness.

Born in Houlton, Feb. 1, 1916, the daughter of Joseph L. and Julie Cyr, she had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was employed as a weaver in the local textile industry for many years, until her retirement. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #22.

She was the widow of Gerald Burnham, whom she married on Oct. 2, 1965 and who died on Dec. 26, 2002.

Mrs. Burnham much enjoyed camping and boating with her family and friends at Moosehead Lake.

Survivors include three sons, Gordon Martin and his wife Jeannette of Lewiston, Philip Martin and his wife Harriette of Canada, and Sylvio Martin and his wife Judith of Lewiston; one daughter, Geraldine Fecteau and her husband Gerald of Auburn; 30 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
