AUBURN – Tammy L. Dupere, 35, of 49 Gamage Ave., Auburn, died Wednesday, April 21, at her home, following a long illness and surrounded by her family.

Born in Lewiston on July 27, 1968, she was the daughter of Gilbert P. and Nancy J. Barrett Dupere. Educated locally, she was employed at various jobs over the years, and especially enjoyed a stint working security on the “Message in a Bottle” movie set in Rockland.

Always very artistic and creative, she enjoyed writing both poetry and fiction, loved to draw, had a beautiful singing voice, and loved country music.

Survivors include her paternal grandmother, Florence Dupere of Auburn; her father, Gilbert and his wife Patricia Dupere of Auburn; her mother, Nancy McLane of Auburn; one brother, Alan Ayer of Lewiston; three uncles, Lucien and his wife Gigi Dupere of Lewiston, Normand and his wife Pat Dupere of Auburn, and Lawrence and his wife Lorraine Newton of Litchfield; two aunts, Carolyn and her husband Normand Goudreau of Sterling, N.Y., and Elaine and her husband Clarence Carpenter of Litchfield; and five cousins, Lisa Bisson, Lorraine Bowen, and Laurentine, Kenneth and Melissa Newton.

She was predeceased by a sister, Catherine Dupere, who passed away on April 8, 2001.
