RUMFORD – The River Valley Chamber of Commerce annual dinner and awards night takes place Saturday with a kick-off social hour at 5 p.m.

The Chamber’s Executive Secretary, Tammi Lyons, said the dinner, auction and dance are open to non-Chamber members as well as members. For those who want to attend the dance only, starting at 9 p.m., tickets may be purchased at the door just prior to the dance at $8 per person or $15 per couple.

Those who want to attend the dinner, awards, auction and dance at the Eagles Hall should make reservations by calling the Chamber at 364-3241 by the end of the day on April 28. The cost for the entire evening is $25 per person. Proceeds go toward Chamber activities.

The annual event presents awards for customer service, business or business person of the year, non-profit organization and volunteer of the year.

Luau or casual attire is requested for this year’s event.
