FARMINGTON – SAD 9 directors are scheduled to hear a proposal Tuesday to replace seats in the Mount Blue High School Auditorium.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the high school library.

Superintendent Michael Cormier is proposing that the board authorize organizations using the auditorium to add a 50-cent replacement charge to admission fees and request donations.

SAD 9 business manager Kris Pottle said the 50-cent increase would not go into effect until July 1 if directors approve it.

The auditorium seats are original, installed in 1960 when the school was built, Pottle said.
