AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Division at Central Maine Community College will offer a new workshop on Teambuilding with LEGOs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 6. Cost of $95 includes materials, lunch, a certificate of completion and .7 CEU’s.

Participants will spend a day of building, creating and problem-solving – in LEGO-based experiences. They will participate in a series of LEGO challenges that demand and practice the competencies needed to successfully build and lead teams.

The block outline includes finding teammates through block selection; achieving goal coordination block by block; making diversity a strength by creative use of color; communicating with the invisible-block challenge; collaborating by getting blocks together; organizing to block the competition; building team spirit by outblocking the odds; negotiating in the block trade; managing conflict by clearing blockages; managing risk by blocking negative outcomes.
