St. Peter & Sacred Heart School had a scrimmage softball team for the first time since we have moved to the new school. We have had some softball teams in the past being St. Peter’s, but this is the first we have had one under our new name St. Peter and Sacred Heart School.

The team was coached primarily by Paul Landry and he was assisted by Mrs. Lori Rioux, who is the athletic director and the eighth grade teacher at St. Peter & Sacred Heart School. The team was made up of junior high girls. The team consisted of Janna Laverdiere, Sam Morency, Erynne Landry, Chelsey Pelletier, Alex Landry, Kacie Rioux, Caitlin Guay, Kassandra Bowen, Hailey Girardia, Nicole Lavalliere, Taylor Hart, Samantha Berube, Mary Mers-Kelly, Kaitlyn Mador and Christina Hernandez.

The softball team had their first scrimmage on Wednesday, April 14 against Mechanic Falls, at 4 p.m. in Mechanic Falls.
