BERGEN, Norway – Tim Seaman recently broke the American 10k record, walking a 39:23. The ink was barely dry on Seaman’s 39:59 mark which he set last September at Hildeshiem, Germany.

Training mates Eric Tysse broke the Norweign national record with 39:22 and Kevin Eastler, a Farmington native, smashed the existing U.S. record, walking a 39:32.

Both Eastler and Seaman traveled to Norway early to finish preparing for the May 2 World Cup in Naumburg, Germany.
