FORT MYERS, Fla. – Edna Louise Dupont, 73, of Gilead, passed away on April 8, at Fort Myers, Fla.

She was born in Sawyerville, Que., Canada, on May 15, 1930. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She loved her family very much and will be deeply missed. She enjoyed working at St. Vincent’s Nursing Home in Berlin, N.H. for many years. After retirement, she volunteered there every Tuesday during the summer season.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gerard Dupont of Gilead; a son, Andre Dupont and his wife, Eileen of Gorham N.H.; a daughter, Lise Dupont McLain and her husband, Stephen of Gilead; a daughter, Arlene Crockett of Portland; a daughter, Diane Bean and her husband, John of Baker City, Ore.; and a son, Richard Dupont of Fort Myers, Fla.; a brother, Raymond Dion and his wife, Aline of Quebec City, Que., Canada; and a sister, Hermance Bolduc of Sherbrooke, Que., Canada. She was also blessed with 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
