FARMINGTON – SAD 9 directors set the referendum vote for a nearly $21.3 million 2004-05 school spending package for Tuesday, June 8.
A public hearing on the proposal, which reflects a $95,809 increase over current spending, is slated for 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, at the Mount Blue High School library.
The board also set the adult education budget at $351,567, which includes $18,125 to administer Rangeley’s adult education program. That money will be reimbursed by Rangeley.
SAD 9’s adult education budget proposed for the district is $333,442, about $1,400 less than the existing budget.
