BRIDGTON – The Oxford Hills Service Corps of Retired Executives Chapter has scheduled workshops in business planning for business start-ups during May and June in Bridgton under the auspices of the SAD 72 Continuing Education Center, and the Lake Region Development Council.

Workshops will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on successive Wednesdays at the Learning Center, Depot Street, in accordance with the following schedule:

• Preparing a Business Plan, Wednesday, May 19

• Marketing, Wednesday, May 26

• Cash Flow Projection, Wednesday, June 2

• Financing a Small Business, Wednesday, June 9

The workshops will be presented by SCORE members and the Small Business Development Center/AVCOG. Workshop content has been structured to provide information and assistance in writing a business plan, basic market research, projecting cash flow and obtaining new business financing.

The fee for the four session workshop is $45 and includes participation by one business partner or spouse.
