Students and teachers are joining together to promote healthy lifestyles.
FARMINGTON – May 5 is All Children Exercising Simultaneously Day, an opportunity to be active along with millions of children from the 50 states and more than 50 countries.
Each year students and teachers join together to exercise and promote the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle. At 10 a.m., participating schools and others in the community will begin exercising together for 15 minutes. At the same moment people in other communities around the world will also be moving, creating the world’s largest exercise class.
ACES is an international project, endorsed and promoted by the Maine Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports to encourage children and teens to feel good and be physically active.
The public is invited to join in.
