LEWISTON – Crystal A. Lailer has been named an officer in the Safety & Insurance Department at Banknorth Group Inc. She will continue to be responsible for performing preventative ergonomic evaluations, reviewing ergonomic products to improve employee tasks and conducting air quality investigations at Banknorth locations in six states.

Lailer joined Banknorth in 1997 and has seven years of banking experience. She previously served as a specialized administrative assistant and a purchasing expediter.

A resident of Lewiston, Lailer is a 1991 graduate of Lewiston High School.
