BETHEL – Maxine D. Wright, 93, of Bethel and formerly of Princeton, W. Va., died April 24, in Bethel.
Born in Lompoc, Calif., March 11, 1911, the daughter of Walter and Alice (Mozier) Dodge, she wsa educated in Lompoc schools in Chico, Calif., and graduated from high school in 1929. She also attended Chico State USC.
She was a music teacher in public schools for many years and later provided private instruction of piano for many years, retiring in 1993. She was a volunteer at the Bethel Historical Society, assisting in record keeping and filing, etc.
She was a member of the West Bethel Grange and the West Bethel Union Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Diana Dodge of Roseville, Calif., and Carmilla Everett of West Bethel, with whom she had made her home for several years; one son, John Woolsey of Chico, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
