FARMINGTON – Marguerite “Rita” L. Rollins, 94, of Phillips died, April 29, in Farmington.

She was born Nov. 29, 1909, in Highland Plantation a daughter of the late Walter and Neva Safford.

In 1939, she married Fillmore A. Rollins in Phillips.

For many years she was employed at the Avon Valley School and Forsters Manufacturing. She was a member of Phillips United Methodist Church, the Phillips Grange, Senior Citizens, The Red Hat Society and was past Noble Grand of the Rebekahs.

She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Lynch of Millonocket; a son, George K. Dunn of Florida; she was the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three brothers; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband of over 63 years June 17, 2002; a brother; and two sisters.
