We are writing in support of Boondoggles and to protest the recent negative publicity unjustly given to the owner. My husband and I live in Massachusetts, and we take the trip to frequent Boondoggles once or twice a month. We may not be taxpayers in Lewiston, but we do empty our pockets there staying at hotels and frequenting the restaurants.

Boondoggles provides us with a safe, fun and friendly atmosphere in which to meet people or just enjoy an evening together dancing. The owner goes out of his way to welcome people and get to know them and make them feel welcome, instilling a sense of community in all that are in attendance.

You do not find that at just any club or bar. Not once have we had anything but a great time at Boondoggles and not once have we witnessed any kind of trouble. We do and will continue to support his efforts.
