AUBURN – The Androscoggin chapter of the Maine Women’s Network will hold its monthly luncheon program from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Central Maine Community College, 1250 Turner St., Auburn, on Friday, May 7. The topic is “Everything You Wish You Knew About Insurance and Investments, But Were Afraid to Ask!”
Many people are reluctant to ask questions about insurance needs and investing, whether for personal use or business. An informative panel of an insurance agent, financial broker and banker will discuss the issues and be available to answer questions.
The panelist will include:
• Patti Gagne, who has been in the insurance industry for more than 17 years. She owns the Patti Gagne Agency Inc. as an exclusive Allstate agent, and is a personal financial representative with Allstate Financial Services.
• Betsy Pratt is an account executive at The Hartford Agency. She has her bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Thomas College (May 2002) and a resident producer license (August 2002). Pratt specializes in small commercial accounts, personal lines policies and snowmobile club insurance.
• Carlo Zanoni, investment representative at Fleet Bank, will offer information about investments for individuals and small businesses.
Cost is $12 for MWN members and $15 for non-members. Advanced registration and nonrefundable payment required. Submit checks made out to Maine Women’s Network to Filomena Day, TMF Events c/o Better Day Ventures, 729 Main St., Lewiston, ME 04240. RSVP by Wednesday, May 5; call 777-3232 for more information.
