TOPSHAM – Maine people from Eastport to Bridgton and from Millinocket to Biddeford are registered to attend the 26th annual American Cancer Society Living With Cancer Conference.

The conference workshops will be 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, at the Augusta Civic Center. People with cancer, family members, friends and medical professionals will attend the event. The focus will be on caregiving – an important source of strength for those affected by cancer.

The keynote speaker will be David Treadwell of Brunswick, a professional writer who has been the caregiver for four people with cancer.
