VERO BEACH, Fla. – Christine Panulla, 92, born Christine Basalyga, on May 20, 1911, in Jessup, Pa., daughter of Peter and Mary Basalyga, died April 30.

She married John Panulla in 1930. Her greatest joy was being with her family. She made her home in Vero Beach, Fla., with her son Adrian for the past eight and a half years and summered in Connecticut, and at Taylor Pond in Auburn.

She is survived by her children, Adrian Panula of Vero Beach and Auburn, David and Corinne Panula of Vero Beach, Joan and Charles Dillon of Vero Beach; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Panulla in 1972; daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Panula in 2001; and great grandson, Daniel Aguiniga in 1983.
