GREENE – Funeral services were held Monday, May 3, for Edith L. Lane at the Baptist Church of Greene in Greene. Rev. Chester A. Garrison officiated at the services. Scripture readings were given by Mrs. Althea Gillis (John 14:1-6, 27). Organist was Mr. Jerol Ellis and special music was provided by Mrs. Barbara Garrison and Mr. Don Mason. A special poem was read by Mrs. Eva Philbrook. Words of remembrance were given by Mrs. Barbara LaFontaine. Hymns sung were “In the Garden” and “Because He Lives.” Pallbearers were Bill Austin, Jim Austin, Tim Beckey and Charles Wood. Interment Clough Cemetery in South Lewiston. Arrangement by Bragdon-Finley Funeral Home, 707 Main St., Monmouth.
